Job description
The Sauti Project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), supports the Government of Tanzania and civil society organizations to scale up community-based biomedical, behavioral and structural HIV and family planning interventions for key and vulnerable populations (KVPs) in 51 councils located within 14 selected regions of mainland Tanzania. Sauti is led by Jhpiego – an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, with partners; EngenderHealth, Pact and the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) in Mwanza. The Sauti Project is also a community implementing partner for the U.S. President’s Emergency Fund for AIDS Relief’s DREAMS Initiative – a program that is solely focusing on HIV prevention amongst vulnerable adolescent girls and young women (vAGYW) age 15-24 years. Sauti’s portfolio is very comprehensive and broad, and includes: Community/Home-Based HIV Testing Services (including partner notification); HIV Self Testing (HIVST), Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP); Community ART and linkages; STI screening, treatment and periodic presumptive treatment; FP/HIV integration; as well as screening and referrals for presumptive TB, GBV and alcohol/drugs.
